Event Description: Speaker: Barry Hewlett, WSU Vancouver Professor of Anthropology. Learn how Africans and the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network at the World Health Organization respond to outbreaks of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever. What we learn from the containment of this deadly disease may help us respond to a bioterrorist attack or outbreaks of new diseases such as H1N1 (swine flu). The cost is $25 and includes parking and luncheon. Pre-registration is required and closes on November 6 at 2PM.
